PhD position in Mathematical Physics at Nijmegen

The Radboud University Nijmegen has a vacancy for a PhD student in the Mathematical Physics group.
The specific research topic has not yet been fixed, but should be related to the research topics of at least one of the members of our group (like noncommutative geometry, Lie groups and representation theory, quantum groups, differential or algebraic geometry, and mathematical foundations of quantum mechanics and quantum field theory).

The position term is for four years (with an initial one-year appointment subject to extension to four years on satisfactory performance), starting at or before 1 September 2009.
The Mathematical Physics group consists of Prof.dr. G. Heckman, Prof.dr. E. Koelink, Prof.dr. N.P. Landsman, Dr. F. Clauwens, Dr. H. Maassen, Dr. M. Mueger and Dr. W. van Suijlekom, and is part of IMAPP (Institute for Mathematics, Astrophysics and Particle Physics), one of the research institutes of the Faculty of Science of the RU. The position is jointly financed by GQT and IMAPP.
