Project title, or field of research: PhD position in Arithmetic Geometry
Supervisor: Marta Pieropan
Deadline: February 7th
As a PhD student, your primary task will be to carry out research in the context of Diophantine geometry: you will investigate rational points on Fano or similar varieties over fields that are not algebraically closed, such as number fields or function fields; the precise goals of the research project are flexible and will be adapted to your strengths and interests. In addition, you are expected to carry out some work as a teaching assistant within the department.
Project title, or field of research: PhD position in analytic number theory (1.0 FTE)

Project title, or field of research: PhD position on spectral aspects of magnetic fields via sub-Riemannian geometry
Supervisor: Marcello Seri
Deadline: Applications received before 1 March 2021 will be given full consideration; however, the position will remain open until it is filled
A 4-years PhD position on spectral aspects of magnetic fields via sub-Riemannian geometry is available within the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.
