Geometry and Quantum Theory (GQT)

Francesca Arici

I am an assistant professor in mathematics in the Analysis and Dynamical Systems group at Leiden University.

In July 2018 I was awarded an NWO Veni Grant to study the noncommutative topology of sphere bundles.

I completed my Ph.D. in September 2015 at SISSA, Trieste (IT), under the supervision of Giovanni Landi.

My research interests are in the field of noncommutative geometry and its interplay with theoretical physics. In particular, I am interested in index theory and its applications to operator algebras, in particular Cuntz–Pimsner algebras, graph C*-algebras and their K-theory.
